Pixel 11 renders have leaked ahead of Google’s August 12 launch event, showing the non-folding Pixel 11 lineup in what appear to be official-style images. The leak covers the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL, including several new color options and a fully matte Midnight finish for the Pro models.
The images were published by leaker Evan Blass and reported by 9to5Google. As with all pre-launch leaks, the final names and exact finishes should be treated as unconfirmed until Google announces the phones. Still, the renders offer the clearest look yet at how Google may position this year’s mainstream Pixel lineup.
Pixel 11 colors shown in the leak
The base Pixel 11 reportedly appears in four colors: Midnight, Fuchsia, Moss and Sterling. Midnight is described as a greenish black, while Moss gives the base model a softer green option. Sterling appears closer to a lavender tone, and Fuchsia adds the brightest option in the set.
According to the report, the base model pairs matte frames with glossy glass backs. That keeps it visually separate from the Pro line, but it also continues a familiar smartphone tradeoff: glossy glass can look clean in renders, then collect fingerprints quickly in daily use.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL reportedly share four color options: Midnight, Fog, Pine and Dune. Fog appears close to some previous Google shades, while Dune stands out with gold-tinted highlights and a peach-like back. Pine gives the Pro series a deeper green option that sits close to the base model’s Moss color.
The matte Midnight Pro may be the standout
The most interesting detail in the Pixel 11 renders is the fully matte Midnight finish on the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL. Previous Pro models have often mixed matte glass with a polished frame. These leaked images appear to show matte material wrapping around the Midnight Pro frame as well, creating a cleaner and less reflective look.
That matters because many phone buyers prefer matte finishes for practical reasons. They show fewer fingerprints, feel less slippery in some hands and photograph more subtly. Google has used fully matte approaches on some foldables and lower-cost devices, but bringing that finish to the flagship Pro line would be a welcome change for users who dislike shiny rails.
The catch is that the fully matte treatment may be limited to Midnight. If buyers want Dune, Fog or Pine, they may still get a more reflective frame. Google has not confirmed the final materials, so the real feel will need to be judged once review units are available.
Design changes look modest this year
Based on the report, this year’s Pixel 11 family looks more like a refinement than a complete redesign. The camera bar remains the visual anchor, and the overall shapes appear familiar. That does not mean the phones will be boring, but it suggests Google may focus its launch pitch on colors, finish, camera improvements, AI features and pricing.
9to5Google also notes that the Pixel 11 series is expected to cost more. If prices rise, the visual polish will have to work alongside stronger hardware and software claims. Buyers may be less forgiving of small upgrades if the entry price moves higher.
The leak follows separate official-looking images of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, suggesting Google is preparing a broad hardware refresh. The non-folding models remain the volume products, while the foldable helps Google compete in the premium experimental tier.
What to watch at Google’s August 12 event
At the launch, the key details will be pricing, chip performance, battery life, camera hardware and which AI features are exclusive to the new models. Colors may drive early attention, but everyday value will depend on how much the Pixel 11 improves over Pixel 10 and older devices.
Google also needs to explain how the Pixel 11 lineup fits beside the Pro Fold and any lower-cost models. If the Pro phones become more expensive, the base Pixel 11 has to remain attractive enough for buyers who want Google’s software and camera experience without crossing into ultra-premium pricing.
For now, the Pixel 11 renders point to a polished but familiar family of phones. The fully matte Midnight Pro may be the design highlight, while the real test will come when Google confirms specifications, pricing and availability on August 12.
