Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 preorders are now live alongside the company’s latest Z Flip and smartwatch lineup. GSMArena reports that Samsung’s new foldables and wearables are available for preorder on Amazon UK after the company’s latest Galaxy launch.

The preorder wave includes the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2. The timing gives Samsung an early chance to convert launch attention into sales before the devices reach wider retail availability.

Galaxy Z Fold8 moves to a wider shape

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is the most important device in the group because it signals Samsung’s continued push to make foldables feel less narrow and more useful as everyday phones. GSMArena describes the Fold8 as bringing an all-new form factor with a 4:3 inner display and a wider design.

That change matters. Earlier book-style foldables often felt tall and cramped when closed, while the inner display could feel awkward for some apps. A wider shape should make typing, browsing and multitasking feel more natural. It also gives Samsung a stronger response to competitors that have been chasing thinner bodies and more traditional outer-screen proportions.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra appears to sit above the standard Fold8 as the more premium option and successor to the previous high-end Fold model. Samsung is using the Ultra name across more product lines, and in foldables it signals a clear attempt to separate the most advanced hardware from the mainstream foldable tier.

Galaxy Z Flip8 remains the mainstream foldable

The Galaxy Z Flip8 continues Samsung’s clamshell strategy. Flip phones are usually easier to sell than book-style foldables because they are smaller, more familiar and typically less expensive. They also appeal to users who want a compact device without carrying a small tablet-style screen.

For buyers, the key questions will be battery life, camera quality, outer-screen usefulness and crease visibility. Samsung has spent several generations improving hinge durability and software behavior, but the Flip line still has to prove that its compact form does not require too many compromises compared with a standard Galaxy S model.

Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2 join the launch

Samsung also opened preorders for the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2. Wearables have become central to Samsung’s ecosystem because they connect health tracking, notifications, payments and phone controls. Pairing watch preorders with foldable launches helps Samsung sell a broader device bundle instead of a single handset.

The Watch9 is likely to attract mainstream Galaxy users who want a familiar smartwatch upgrade, while the Watch Ultra2 targets buyers who want a tougher design and more advanced health or fitness features. As with the phones, real value will depend on battery life, sensor accuracy, software support and launch discounts.

What preorder buyers should check

Preorder pages can change quickly, so buyers should verify exact model names, storage options, colors, trade-in offers, delivery windows and warranty terms before checkout. Foldables are expensive devices, and small differences in protection plans or launch bonuses can affect the total value.

The broader story is that Samsung is trying to normalize foldables as a family of devices rather than a niche experiment. With wider Fold hardware, a new Flip generation and refreshed watches, Samsung is using this preorder cycle to keep pressure on Android rivals before the next major Pixel and iPhone launches.
