Xiaomi introduced new generation fitness tracker, Mi Band 5 with new features last week and started selling yesterday. Mi Band 5 with NFC version was sold out in the very first day.
Mi Band 5 is produced two versions; one with NFC and another without NFC. The only difference is NFC and the other features and specs are the same between two models. NFC model can support mobile payment and can be used with Chinese payment methods like Alipay and Unionpay. According to rumors, global version will support Googlepay and Alexa.
Mi Band 5 NFC model was sold by 229 Yuan (around 32 USD) and Mi Band 5 Regular (without NFC) was sold by 189 Yuan (around 27 USD)
